This amazing and powerful combo can help the body regain it`s natural healing forces.

Drinking this can be amazing to defend the body itself from the cold, to cleanse and to natural detox itself.

Sometimes the simplest recipes become part of our everyday routines.

This Lemon, Ginger & Garlic Wellness Drink is made with just a handful of ingredients and can easily be prepared in advance for the week ahead. Whether enjoyed warm on a chilly morning or served slightly diluted throughout the day, it's a wonderfully refreshing drink to keep in the fridge.

The combination of fresh lemon, ginger, and garlic creates a bold and vibrant flavour that's both warming and refreshing.

Healthy living doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's the small habits that help us feel more connected to our wellbeing.

Ingredients

  • 3 litres purified water

  • 3 large organic lemons

  • 3 large cloves garlic

  • 3 cm fresh ginger

  • Raw honey (optional, for serving)

Method

  1. Choose organic lemons if possible, as the peel will be used during cooking.

  2. In a large saucepan with a lid, cut each lemon in half, then cut each half into four pieces.

  3. Add the lemon pieces to the saucepan and gently squeeze them as you add them.

  4. Peel the garlic cloves and lightly crush them using the side of a knife.

  5. Slice the ginger.

  6. Add the garlic, ginger, and water to the saucepan.

  7. Bring the mixture to a boil.

  8. Reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer gently for approximately 50 minutes.

  9. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool.

  10. Strain through a colander into clean glass bottles or jars.

If you would like a sweeter flavour, add a little honey once the drink has cooled.

Storage

Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
