This Creamy Chocolate Avocado Dessert is one of those recipes that comes together in just a few minutes and feels like a real treat. It's smooth, rich, and wonderfully satisfying, making it perfect for dessert, an afternoon coffee break, or whenever you're craving something sweet.

One of the things I love most about this recipe is its simplicity. A handful of ingredients, a food processor, and a few minutes are all you need.

Simple recipes like this remind us that homemade desserts don't have to be complicated.

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 small ripe avocados (approximately 320 g before peeling)

  • 1 large banana (approximately 190 g before peeling)

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 soft date

  • 80 g thick coconut cream

  • ¼ tsp Himalayan salt

For Garnishing

  • A light dusting of cacao powder

  • A pinch of salt

  • Hemp seeds

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor.

A hand blender works well too.

  2. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.

  3. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for approximately 1 hour before serving.

  4. Garnish with cacao powder, a small pinch of salt, and hemp seeds.

Nina's Tip

For the creamiest texture, use ripe avocados and a soft, ripe banana.

If you're preparing this ahead of time, store it in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
